Maker Days Vol.2: Digital Cookie Workshop

The second edition of the Maker Days, which is organized by Salzburg Research together with Verein Spektrum at the Stadt:Bibliothek, is successfully launched. Around 30 children designed and created their individual cookie cutter last Friday – both analog and digital. On the one hand iron sheet was cut and bent into a variety of shapes and soldered together. On the other hand, the children were allowed to design their shapes with Cookie Caster (www.cookiecaster.com) and print on 3D printers.

In the concurrent “Wissenstage” visitors could watch the concentrated tinkerers via live stream.

Three exciting Maker Days are yet to come. At the next appointment on 11 November 2016 it is all about music: The children build cool musical instruments from waste or with the 3D printer. Following they make their own radio show, in which they make music with homemade instruments.

For more information on the following afternoons: Maker Days Vol.2 at Stadt:Bibliothek

For the dates on 11.11. and 25.11. registrations are still possible.
