OptiChargE: Findings from the Operation of Battery-Electric Bus Fleets
The research project “OptiChargE—Optimized and automated charging management for battery-electric fleets“ tested the real-world operation of battery-electric bus fleets in public transportation and provided scientific support. At the closing event, we will report on experiences from the twelve-month pilot operation with fleet operator Albus in Salzburg, present key insights from day-to-day operations, and highlight the recommendations that can be derived from these findings for scaling up electric bus fleets. The focus will be on practical charging management, operational safety, operational control options, system integration, and data foundations.
This webinar is particularly geared toward researchers, mobility and transportation experts, public transit operators, transit authorities, fleet operators, e-mobility and charging infrastructure experts, energy providers, logistics companies, municipal fleet managers, public contracting authorities, and decision makers from government, politics, and industry.
