zukunftswege.at – Ideas for the Mobility of Tomorrow

Mobility laboratory „zukunftswege.at“ assists research and innovation drivers in the development of their potential, and aims to initiate and help new projects.

The aim is to develop sustainable mobility solutions, to reduce and at the same time better organise traffic in the city and surrounding communities. Innovation projects gain easy access to the test environments and thus the opportunity to investigate the mobility system in a live laboratory environment. Owing to the strong transport relationships with the border region of Bavaria, cross-border test corridors are also being established in addition to selected principal transport links. This makes it easier to transfer project results from theory to real-world application

As part of the FTI future mobility programme, zukunftswege.at is promoted by the Austrian federal ministry of climate protection and operated by the Austrian research promotion agency.
