ANET-BAWI – eAccessibility in Sports Regions

Innovative (ICT)-measures and sport products for disabled people

Barrier-free sport regions – innovative (ICT) measures and sport products for people with special needs.

The main objective is to identify and, consequently, reduce potential barriers that prevent people with special needs to engage in sport or leisure activities. For instance the project analyses how information and communication technologies (ICT) can help people with special needs to access sports facilities and services. The project also examines how sports services are to be presented barrier-free (e-accessibility) and it identifies potential target group specific barriers in the tourism value chain. Finally it develops solutions to overcome these barriers.
