FETALSENS
The goal is to reduce the stillbirth rate in cattle by developing a system that automatically records fetal ECGs.
Automated, continuous monitoring of the heart activity of unborn calves improves birth monitoring on farms and aids in decision-making for veterinary procedures during birth. This reduces birth complications and the stillbirth rate. Miniaturization and data transmission to end devices, such as mobile phones and computers, are intended to ensure simple and safe application.
SRFG is a project partner and is responsible for developing and testing the system for recording fetal ECGs.
