On April 24, 2026, at the Long Night of Research (#LNF26), the largest science and research event in the German-speaking region, the motto will once again be “Participate, marvel, discover” – experience research and innovation up close.

With free admission, we and other scientific and research-related institutions and organizations will provide insights into their everyday work. Numerous interactive program items will allow people of all ages to experience the research landscape in Salzburg in all its facets.

Salzburg Research, together with partner institutions in Science City Itzling, will also offer an evening full of eye-opening experiences. Details will be published in early 2026.
