Evaluating digital health interventions with complex designs
The project investigates how digital health interventions with complex study designs can be evaluated in a statistically reliable manner. The focus is on methods for personalised and adaptive studies in the field of cardiovascular health.
The Elise Richter project, funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), develops and evaluates new nonparametric statistical methods for analysing complex study designs, including N-of-1 trials and multi-crossover studies, which are frequently used in digital health research. The aim is to strengthen the evidence base for digital interventions in cardiovascular care.
Our role: Salzburg Research is leading the project and is responsible for methodological development, simulations and applications in real-world digital health studies.
