Stress intensity plays a critical role in the ability to stay alert, focussed and enthusiastic. However, it is important to distinguish between stress (arousal) and its valence ranging from positive eustress to negative distress. Particularly in sports, wearables shall not reduce stress intensity, but support a more positive perception.
