Salzburg FP7 Kick-Off Event

Today, a local kick-off event for the 7th Framework Programme took place in Salzburg (organised by FFG in cooperation with the University of Salzburg and ITG Salzburg).

The event was extremely well attended, very informative presentations (and workshops in the afternoon). We are looking forward to the IST event next week in Helsinki.

My presentation was on the “other side”, i.e., the reviewers’ perspective. I think in most presentations (for the framework programmes) this is neglected. And, having been a reviewer myself, I know how difficult it is to judge objectively and to communicate the proposal’s message so that it can be understood (in very short time) by the reviewers.
