Maker Days Vol.2: Robot 101

Also on the third afternoon of the Maker Days Vol.2 there was a lot to discover. Around 40 children took up the topic of robots at the various stations: With Salzburg Research, robotic figures could be modelled on the computer and robot games programmed. A robotic arm which one could grab and move objects with by the control of a tablet required special skills. At the station from the club Spektrum was vigorously hammered, cut and soldered, in order to build small vibrobots. With e² Young Engineers, the children put together motorized LEGObots, which they used to run races or small robot battles.

A last Maker Day is still to come

The next date on 25 November 2016 is all about photography. In the photo workshop, the children can build a cookie dosing camera, develop the results in the darkroom, draw with light, take creative photos with the smartphone and create their own photostory.
